More variegated FMQ using a pattern I'd seen on an a quilt at FOQ. I ended up marking out a grid to get a rhythm going - I don't think I'd need to do that again.
The triangles on the tail are raw edged applique, as is the outline. It's probably an extravagent use of fabric, but I like the textured edge this technique creates
