My next challenge

I now have my next picture to work on from a member of my Round Robin group. The picture is only 10cm x 18cm and has to be reproduced at that size. I have no idea which way is up or what the original image looks like, but that doesn't matter.

It's going to take a while to work out how to re-create some of the shading, particularly in the purple sections, as I'd rather like to avoid using paint. I've been sorely tempted to print the scanned image onto fabric just to see people's initial responses - this might be a good one to try it with!
