I have been on a trip to Oslo, visiting schools there and also attending meetings. There was little free time, but fortunately the shops stayed open until about 6.30 for Christmas shopping. The cost of living is even higher than I had anticipated so all I bought were these decorations. The embroidered hearts represent traditional Norway to me. Buying these means a change in how we have decorated our tree since the children were small. We've never 'done' themes but have gathered baubles and bits over the years, they are not abandoned, just having a rest this year!
