I've been meaning to ask - how are people doing with their
words ? Mine is working out better than I'd thought - because in addition to trying to play more I'm clearing a path to playtime. Yes, much to my amazement I've turned domestic - I'm putting things away and generally clearing up as I go. The only thing I can put it down to is the focus on play! My mother always said "If you're a good girl ....".

It's funny you should say that, as my word was 'reclaim' (me) and much to my surprise , so far, everyone around me has happily accepted the fact that i want to spend more time on my creative things, and have been very happy to give me the space. Maybe all I had to do was give myself permission to do the things i want to do!
Happy playtime :-)
I chose "freedom" and have similar results to yours. I've been amazed at how chanting my little word motivates me to get at those chores I so put off, and that in spending time to take care of them, I actually have the time (and clear guilt-free conscience) to do the fun things.
