Another Little Gem
Concerned that people might think that the little gem project is only for art or contemporary quilts I've been looking for techniques that fall well outside of those categories. Hence this piece of redwork. Whilst I enjoyed creating the image and finding an appropriate quotation, the stitching took far to long to be relaxing!

I'm with ya, I don't find redwork embroidery relaxing or fulfilling at all, which is weird. Other kind of embroidery I'm fine with. At least I used to be. Haven't done any for a long time, maybe I'm losing my patience!
