This year's fundraising tombola at the FOQ is being run by the Guilds Miniature group and the theme is Pennants .The poppy and sunflower were made specially for the fundraiser but the purple pennant, and there are three more, was made by cutting up a small hanging I made when I was trying out the stiches on my, then, new machine. All the fabrics, other than the silver one, started out as white and went into the same purple dye bath, for the same length of time - it was an interesting bit of playing that I must try again!
