Stitching at Glenthorne

I've been home from my week at Glenthorne for a bit, but it's taking me some time to get my thoughts together. We had four very full days with Gillian Travis working from design to stitch and I'm still trying to put things into perspective..
The best, short term, outcome for me is that I have since sent time playing with no particular goal in mind other than learning more about the materials I have at home. Usually any work I do is very goal driven, with a finished piece in mind, which means that I miss a lot of opportunities that play brings out. Here is just some of the work we covered during the week:
