Some 'What if' thoughts

• What if I make units in different scales?
• What if I use one piece of fabric - how visible will the piecing be? Will it appear as cracks?
• What if, now that I'm not on curves, I stop pressing the life out of the piecing, will it look more organic, or just a mess?

These questions will take me on to inserting contrasting fabric, which was an element in the class with Sandra Grusd that began this ramble.
