As I ponder and play with quilt show entry/ies I'm keeping my hands busy with traditional work. I've marked and layered a scrappy Irish Chain quilt ready for machine quilting and I've cut out and tacked (My mother wouldn't believe me - I always told her that the word tack wasn't in my vocabulary.) a small Hawaiian wall hanging. I've all but finished the three sections for my CQ Pictorial Consequences challenge, here's just one section as a taster:
