Not happy with myself 2
It seems that the judges at FOQ agreed with me, the comments about my Transitions piece were good apart from those about the quilting. I can't remember the exact wording but the comments could be summed up as 'adequately quilted' which seems reasonable to me.
On the other hand I had a phone call yesterday from Grosvenor exhibitions to say that the same piece has won the 'Best Use of Colour' award at the Harrogate Quilt show, so I may be in for my first rosette!

I think there's a trophy as well as a rosette - will pick up both on Sunday and present them to you when we next meet! And congratulations again on a well deserved win.
I thought this quilt was lovely when I saw it at FOQ and I didn't see anything wrong with the quilting! Congratulations on your win. It's well deserved.
