It was wet, it was windy but it was wonderful

We have just returned from a holiday in the Lakes and after several years of very limited walking because of DH's hip problem, we walked every day! Not the peak bagging of years gone by but up high enough to see wonderful views and feel the wind in my hair.


















This poor daffodil was planted on the river bank - the recent rains have turned it into an aquatic! But it wasn't all bad - this view from my bedroom window shows how good the good days were, even though there was snow on the tops.
