I love this - it came together as part of the making of another in what I am now thinking of as the 'secrets' series. (Thanks Margaret!) The only trouble is - it's only 4" by 6", won't stand binding and doesn't need embellishing to make me like it more.

Oh, very nice. If it won't take a binding could you not do the charmingly called bagging out?
Or, layer and leave the edges raw. Something small like that can be mounted onto stretched fabric, or onto a covered polystyrene block that doesn't come to the edges.
And of course "next time" you can scale it up ... !
