Now you see it - soon you won't

This piece, which is about 4' long, is a follow on from Ragbags, exploring like colours with the odd shot of surprise. I quilted it because I also used the piece to explore variegated threads and a different quilting style but it feels soul-less somehow. After some discussion with quilting friends about the lack of depth I decided, in the wee small hours, that I would re-create this as two smaller pieces to work on. At the moment the plan is to layer over one piece and do something fairly smple with beads on the other. Give me a couple of years and I'll be back!

Does it have creative possibilities as a whole (instead of cutting it up) IF you view it horizontally? Bead detail? Fringe hanging? Small, vivid colorful applique winding across?
The colors and flow are quite beautiful...nice job!

Anonymous is right, it IS a nice job. Could you not sew the two pieces together again? Either as it was or side by side? The orange streamer in the following post really lifts the whole thing.
