Another walk that seemed to grow as we walked, advertised as 6.5 miles it seemed a reasonable length after the break, though I can't believe that I've not been out since September. Our leader soon confessed that it would be 7.5 miles, it seemed longer but perhaps that was the 1600' of ascent or just my lack of fitness, which I certainly felt! It was chilly when we stopped or were out of the sun but the skies were blue, the views excellent and the company good. What more could you want from a walk?

What more could you want from a walk ... hmm ... not much, I agree! Maybe a pub lunch and some "surprises" to collect along the way?
