Another Place

Sometimes things are so easily obtainable that you ignore them. Anthonty Gormley's Another Place is perhaps an hour's drive away but until Friday we've never visited.

The day was unexpectedly hot and sunny so was perhaps busier than usual for a Friday but I was amazed at how short a distance I had to walk from the ice cream van to feel as though there was only sea, sky and statues.  There were tern and oyster catchers too, taking advantage of the receding tide and their calls added to the sense of being alone.
