Thanks to those of you who have sent ideas for quilting the top I mentioned in my last post. At the moment I feel as though things are getting worse as I see even more alternatives and new secondary patterns - but I'm sure that the 'murk' will clear in the end.
What I find interesting is that I don't have this problem with most of my work, which isn't traditional. Somehow with contemporary pieces the quilting is all part of the original idea, which is obviously something I'm going to have to work on if I do a quilt like this again, and I'm sure I will .
