Have fabric, but where is the time going to?

I need enough units to cover my cutting board so I'm almost there, but this photo shows me something that I hadn't expected. There is a far starker colour contrast between 'my' work and the traditional lower section - I feel some late nights coming on. The deadline for this Horizons challenge piece is the 1st July. The exhibition will be on display at Festival of Quilts in August.
