I don't do piecing...
.... but I've always wondered what would happen if you used the Dutchman's puzzle block with a limited pallette and worked against the placement rules. And now I've found out:

Who made the law that said you have to piece to get this effect? What's wrong with fusing? Or painting? Or...there must be others...
